# 2 - The Queen of Hemlock Grove | Hand Signed by Artist
A Love Letter to a Fellow Heart Warrior
Across the grove she stood—twisted, solitary, stubborn in her stance. For two years, I watched her from afar, not knowing her name, only that she was different. When spring finally drew me to her feet, I saw it: she had bent to no one. She had danced with gravity, wrestled the wind, and declared herself sovereign on a hillside no pother tree had claimed.
She is the only tree shaped like this in all the grove. That is not a coincidence.
This image was taken in the moment of our meeting. Her bare branches wrapped like arms around the air, and the moon hides behind her, veiled. She is the focus. Her story, her scars, her strength. I left her flowers. I sang her a song. I told her that her struggle had not gone unnoticed. And she said to me: “Shed the skin, Christopher. It is time. You were not meant to stay hidden.”
This is a portrait of reflection.
Of a Queen who held her ground until the day she was finally seen.
it is a sigil of survival, of beauty in defiance, and the sacredness of being worthy of a name.
To stand before her is to be called forward—not with softness, but with soul.
BE NOT AFRAID. You made it this far. Let her tell you the rest.
Moonlight Belongs to Dreamers: Love Letters to Eureka
This piece began as a real photo—taken during a moonlit walk through Eureka Springs. I refine the image in Photoshop, then collaborate with a drawing tool to translate its emotion into an oil painting style. The result is a visual poem—rooted in place, rich with feeling. Every print is finished by hand and paired with its story.
This is art as invocation—an invitation to remember the magic that is all around us.
